My Vastu Guru ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
When you register, purchase a course/workshop, or contact us, we collect: your name, email address, WhatsApp/mobile number, and payment-related details (handled by our payment processor, Razorpay — we do not store your card or bank details ourselves). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account, and grant access to courses/workshops you've enrolled in or purchased.
- To process payments and send order confirmations/receipts.
- To send you course/workshop updates, reminders, and (with your consent) promotional communication.
- To respond to enquiries submitted via our contact or consultation forms.
- To improve our Services and troubleshoot issues.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Services — for example Razorpay for payments, and WhatsApp/SMS/email providers for communication — and only to the extent needed for them to perform that function.
4. Cookies & Sessions
We use essential cookies/session storage to keep you logged in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). We don't use invasive third-party tracking cookies beyond standard analytics.
5. Data Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (they are never stored or visible in plain text). We use CSRF protection, rate-limiting on login attempts, and access-controlled admin tools to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
6. Your Choices
You can update your account details, change your password, or request account deletion by contacting us via the Contact Us page. You can also log out of all devices from your dashboard at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
